As a content specialist in the IT environment, my work has always been at the intersection of content and technology.
My background is in journalism, and my day-to-day work has been in cross-functional teams within a large organization.
I'm not an engineer and I don't write code. My focus is the layer around it: content, workflows, and the communication that keeps teams aligned.
I've also built my perspective outside formal roles, through exposure to tools, real conversations, and hands-on learning.
Outside work, I spend time gaming and playing the guitar and piano. That focus and creativity show up in how I work.
The Idea Behind the Blog
Working Margin is built around a simple idea: the practical level of technical context you need to work effectively, without needing deep engineering expertise.
I'm not against developing new skills, but I want to make workplaces less intimidating and easier to navigate.
This blog is intended for people who work with or around product and engineering teams. Most posts are intentionally short and quick to read, so you can pick up useful context without getting pulled into long explanations.
My writing reflects what I’ve learned through my role and through continued collaboration in this field.
I enjoy exploring practical use cases for tech, and I use this blog to turn that exploration into useful notes for non-technical professionals.
